Tributes paid to The Rev鈥檇 Dr Andrew Macintosh, 鈥榓 remarkable man and priest鈥An internationally-renowned Hebrew and Bible scholar once described as 'the best preacher in England', has died. The Rev鈥檇 Dr Andrew Macintosh, a Life Fellow at St John鈥檚, and former Chaplain, Tutor, Dean of Chapel and President, died on Thursday 5 December 2024. An ordained priest of the Church of England, Dr Macintosh had a long and distinguished academic career.
