We bring this to life each year in the Climate Crisis Lecture, organised by our Climate Crisis Committee to showcase and discuss the research advances being made by our Fellows.
The inaugural Lecture in 2024 was delivered by our renowned Fellow in Economics Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta, who has devoted five decades of research to shape the theory and economics of 鈥榮ustainable development鈥, most recently with his grounding breaking review on The Economics of Biodiversity commissioned by HM Treasury and now influencing governments and fiscal policy worldwide. 聽

Our undergraduates have the opportunity to undertake summer internships with a St John鈥檚 Fellow addressing a dimension of the climate and biodiversity crisis, and to present their research findings alongside the Climate Crisis Lecture.
